Year:
2011
Location:
Serpentine Lake, Hyde Park, London, Great Britain

Inspired by ‘Paper Nautilus’, Brood becomes the shelter for thousand fish and the exhibition place for wonderful masterpiece. The elevated, shell-like structure is a dwell for the display chandelier which imitates the way those fish hang the eggs. Uniquely, the visitor can lower these broods independently via remote control so they can behold closer to the movement of beautiful fish. Another distinctive element is the architectural feature that is similar to the dinosaur skeleton. It results in the grandeur and powerful building like a dinosaur living long time ago. Elevated Brood also encourages a graceful use of water by forming a strong relationship with the Serpentine Lake
